Biography
Anastasiia Shchypilina has been dancing since childhood, and from that time on, dancing became her passion and her life!
From a very young age, her talent was evident. She participated in many national and international tournaments with tremendous results, including
becoming the Ukrainian Champion in Latin, Ballroom, and 10 Dance in both the Junior 2 (14-15 years) and Youth (16-18 years) divisions. In addition to her successful dance career, Anastasiia graduated from the Ukrainian National University of Culture and Arts.
In 2007, Anastasiia and Mykhailo (Michael) Bilopukhov began their dance career together. From 2007 till 2012 they were members of the All Ukrainian Dance Sport Federation (part of the World DanceSport Federation.) They were part of the National team of Ukraine, representing the country at the international level, and winners/medalists of many major National and International competitions. Before turning professional, they were silver medalists (2nd place) of the European Cup, held in Szombathely, Hungary.
In 2013, Anastasiia and Michael moved into the Professional division and in 2015, started to represent the U.S.
Since then, they have been medalists or finalists in every major competition in the U.S., including 2015 National Rising Star Latin Champions and Open to the World Rising Star Latin Champions.
