World class training in the palm of your hand.

Hi Dancer! Welcome to Dancesport Place, from your “virtual studio” owners, Erik & Melissa Cyr. We created DSP for competitive dancers, just like you, whether you are a pro-am, amateur or a pro teacher. We were inspired by our own personal journeys in ballroom and along the way, we thought many times

Yes, it would! So, DanceSport Place was born, bringing together all the information dancers need to succeed–that we wished we had!

Our Story, Your Story

We’ve been in the ballroom world almost our whole lives, starting as childhood amateurs, turning professionals and then becoming teachers.

At every stage, we looked for guidance, wanting to know more and be better. Can you relate to any of these?

  • I wish I could take more lessons, but they’re so expensive!
  • How can I be more ready for my private lessons, and get more out of them?
  • I’d love to learn with other coaches, but I feel like I’d be “cheating” on my teacher…
  • Is there any tool or method out there that can help me practice more effectively?
  • How can I get more confident and feel more free to express myself on the dance floor?
  • What can I do to strengthen my teaching and stay updated?

Or if you’ve ever just thought: Wouldn’t it be great to access everything I need as a competitor (instruction, fashion, pep talks) all in one place?!

Good News! You’re in the right place!
