BIOGRAPHY
Marcus Johnson started dancing at the age of six and performed on the Merv Griffin show at age 8. He is the son of famous dancers Patrick and Wendy Johnson. His father, Patrick, was a British and World Amateur Latin Champion. His mother, Wendy, was New Zealand Champion and is currently owner of the Holiday Classic Dance Competition in Las Vegas.
Marcus turned professional at 21 years of age and has been teaching, lecturing and competing for 17 years. He is versed in all styles of ballroom dancing, but specializes in Latin and Rhythm dancing.
In 2011, Marcus began competing in American Rhythm style of dance. He won many major competitions in the United States, including those listed in his achievements below.
He is now married to his beautiful and talented wife Selena Morano Johnson. They are currently working together dancing American Smooth.
