After 4 weeks of intensive training with Erik and Melissa Cyr, actor Justin Chatwin (“War of the Worlds”, “Dragonball”) is off to Toronto to start filming the new movie “Funkytown”. Set in the disco era of the 1970’s, Justin’s character is a nightclub hustle and disco dancer.
His partner for the film is Romina D’Ugo, one of the finalists from the Canadian version of “So You Think You Can Dance”. They are sure to make the big screen sizzle!
Renowned choreographer Jean Marc Genereux (choreographer and judge on “So You Think You Can Dance”, “Danse avec les Stars”, World 10-Dance Finalist and 10 times undefeated Canadian Latin Champion) is the head choreographer for the movie.
Jean Marc has created some dynamic and exciting routines, and will be on set for the filming to oversee the dancers putting their best feet forward.
