It was so fun to sit down and chat with our great friends, Martin and Diana Lefebvre for this interview. Erik and Martin are best friends from way back, growing up in Canada and competing together internationally in the Amateur Latin division. Believe me, they have a lot of stories on each other! Getting this chance to talk to with Martin and Diana, reminded me of the deep wealth of experience that comes from starting dance at an early age. The Lefebvres are well known throughout Canada for sparking the youth dancesport scene in Calgary. Part of what makes them so good at training and polishing young dancers to become champions, is their ability to relate to the experience of competing from a young age. Not only have they trained many top level Canadian amateurs, but their students have also gone on to success as contestants on SYTYCD Canada. They continue to make opportunities for competitors of all ages with their innovative competition, Rocky Mountain Dancesport Grand Prix. Join me and listen in as they discuss how to train champions.
